The game encourages team spirit, fosters endurance, manifests discipline, helps to build up character and brings out the quality of leadership. CPS Cricket Academy was established in 2017 to nurture the grass-root talent right from an early age and bring out the best young stalwart cricketers. Mr. Ravishankar, Cricketer of the Year from Madras Cricket Club, and Director T S Mahalingam & Sons inaugurated the academy and addressed the youngsters to aspire to take up the game as their career and enjoy their passion of playing cricket.

In 2022, CPS partnered with the world’s largest and fastest-growing cricket academy, CricKingdom Cricket Academy by Rohit Sharma. Under the able guidance of the ICC Certified Level 1 Coaches, Rohit Sharma's academy provides in-school and after school courses from basic till advanced to different age groups ranging between 6 - 19 years. Apart from regular training sessions, celebrity coaches and player’s sessions, students gain real experience while playing in the CricKingdom Champions Trophy as team 'Krishu Knights'. Thus, CPS continues nurturing young cricket enthusiasts and contributes to the growth of cricket talent!
